David Cameron appoints Greg Hands as Shadow Finance Minister

Greg recently accepted David Cameron's invitation to join his frontbench team as Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury. Greg has already started work on what will be a challenging role to oppose Labour's appalling mishandling of the economic crisis, charting a course for a forthcoming Conservative Government to pull Britain out of recession and repair the country's battered finances. Greg has already appeared in the Commons in his new role, with speeches on the country's public deficit and borrowing and on the scandalous treatment by the Government of Equitable Life policyholders. Greg is also looking forward to taking up issues important to his current Hammersmith & Fulham constituents and for his prospective Chelsea constituents
